9 of the 12 toppers who scored 100 percentile in the CUET examinations belong to CBSE affiliated schools and prefer to study political science honors in Delhi University.
Among the 12 toppers who scored 100 percentile in a minimum of five papers, at least 9 of them belong to CBSE affiliated schools. Among these students Delhi University enjoys a lot of popularity and want to study there. Most of them want to study BCom, History, psychology and economics.

Megha Goenka who scored 98% in the commerce board exams scored 100th percentile in English, Accountancy /Book Keeping, Economics and Mathematics /Applied Mathematics.

Megha, who wishes to study B.Com (Honors) at SRCC said that it was mainly self study, revision of what she had studied for the board exam and clarity in concepts made the paper easy. She also said that CUET had given everyone a level playing field.

Sahana Ramesh, with 99.2% in board exams in the field of humanities scored 100th percentile in English, History, Legal Studies, political science and psychology. She also said that most questions were from the Board syllabus and the fact that she had given two board exams helped her. She had used different MCQ based guide books for preparation.
She also said that CUET was a good way of streamlining the process and providing a level field for all students though the execution required streamlining.

Pritam Singh who scored 97.4% in humanities scored 100th percentile in English, Political Science, History, Hindi and Geography. He said that he tried studying for Board and CUET simultaneously but couldn’t. So he studied for boards first and then for CUET. However he was of the opinion that CUET has only increased competition as a lot of students have scored 100th percentile.
When asked if CUET had given new opportunities to them as they had already scored well in 12th board exams, many said they are sure of admission in coveted colleges ike Shri Ram College of Commerce which wouldn’t have happened otherwise because of unrealistic cut-off like 98-99% and an different system of awarding scores in different colleges.
