An online financial literacy course called ‘Invest-Verse’ was launched jointly by NAL- A subsidy of NSE and Asset Management Company of HDFC bank which mainly aims to promote financial literacy among college youth and first time investors.
NSE Academy Limited (NAL), a fully owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India and HDFC AMC, the Asset Management Company of HDFC bank came together and launched a programme called Invest-Verse for college going students.
Invest-Verse: An Introduction to the World of Investing is a course that can be accessed at the comfort of home via the internet. It is specially designed for the purpose of promoting financial literacy among college going students. It aims to reach out to the First Time Investors and empower them to become earners.
The Five hour online application based training can also be accessed from HDFC Mutual Fund’s application MFBytes. All the learning material can be accessed using the app. As per a statement, upon completion, the programme will be certified jointly by both NAL and HDFC AMC.
The first batch of the programme was kicked off on 25th August 2022 which saw around 250 students from various reputed colleges from Mumbai participating in it. Ashish Kumar Chauhan, MD & CEO of NSE and Navneet Munot, MD & CEO of HDFC AMC inaugurated the programme and addressed the first batch of students as the online course was released on the app simultaneously.
