Goa Board SSC, HSSC Exams dates announced

The Goa Board of Secondary and higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has released the timetable for HSSC (Class 12) and SSC (Class 10) exams. The first term exam for the same will begin from November 11. The second term exam will be held from 1st April, 2023.Â
The application process for SSC and HSSC exams have already commenced from August 8. To apply, all the candidates have to visit the official website of GBSHSE. The application fee for general category students for both the exams is Rs. 1,200.
Schedule of GBSHSE SSC, HSSC Exam
SSC exam – Theory
- First term – 10th November
- Second term – 1st April
SSC exam – Practical
- History (CWSN)/ Geography (CWSN)/ Science (General & CSWN) – 1st March onwards
- NSQF subjects – 3rd March onwards
- CWSN special/pre-vocational subjects – 12th March onwards
HSSC exam – TheoryÂ
- First term – 10th November
- Second term – 1st April
HSSC exam – Practical
- Audit of vocational courses – 1st February
- General practical exam – 1st February
- NSQF practical – 7th February
SSC, HSSC exam checklist for repeater students
- Candidates giving the exam as an ITI category or private category student and repeated candidates have to contact their schools to submit their exam forms online.
- Candidates who couldn’t pass the theory/practical exam of a particular subject will only have to give the unsuccessful part of that particular subject.
- Repeater candidates from the March 2022 batch are required to give the first and second term exam of the subjects, in which they had grade I or H. The internal assessments will be conducted as usual.
- Candidates who passed their exam successfully but want to improve their marks can apply as well, under the scheme of improvement of marks.
