IIM placement season is here, IIM Bodh Gaya has received the highest package of Rs 48.58 lakh. The average stood at Rs 16 lakh and the median stood at Rs 15.25 lakh, it has registered a growth of 34 percent and 22 percent year-on-year (YoY).
Further, the average domestic package of the batch’s top 25, 50, and 75 percentiles stood at Rs 21.82 lakh, Rs 18.79 lakh, and Rs 17.08 lakh, respectively.
This year, the institute welcomed close to 70 firms to take part in the final placement for a group of more than 200 students.
The BFSI, consulting, FMCG, IT and analytics, e-commerce, and manufacturing sectors contributed the most recruiters. The majority of offers—nearly 50%—were made by BFSI, the largest employer.
97 offers were made to the graduating class as a result of the participation of all the major banks, insurance companies, and fintech companies, including Axis Bank, BNY Mellon, HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, ICICI Prudential, IDBI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, SBI Capital, Fincare SFB, Spice Money, and Yes Bank.
The graduating batch also witnessed decent participation from e-commerce giants such as FMCG, and market research firms like Amazon India, Bluestone, Haldirams, Reliance Retail, MoEngage, and Porter.
