Sri Visweswara Yoga Research Institute (SVYRI) has announced that IIT Hyderabad (IITH) will be providing research fellowships for PhD students in heritage science and technology. The fellowships will be named for Mahayogini Rajyalakshmi Devi.

Candidates with an MTech./ME/MSc (Engineering/Technology) degree in the respective or allied areas and a valid GATE score are eligible to apply for this position.
MRD fellows will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 75,000, and they’ll be able to use the funding to attend conferences or expand their knowledge and skills with educational visits.
The proposed research will be conducted in any area of Science and Technology, as applied to intangible or tangible Indic heritage, such as yoga, ayurveda, music, dance, language, arts, architecture or sculpture at the Department of Heritage Science and Technology (HST) at IITH.
