IIT Roorkee Placements 2022: A student Bags Offer Worth Rs. 1.30 crores in College Placement

The IT Roorkee Placement 2022 has begun, with the highest domestic salary offered to a student on day one being Rs 1.30 crore. Ten students have been offered more than Rs 80 lakh in salary.
The Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee today kicked off its campus placement drive for the 2022-23 academic year. A total of 365 offers were made, including pre-placement offers (PPOs). Six international offers were made.
The highest overall offer was for Rs 1.30 crore. The highest international offer was for Rs 1.06 crore. In total, 10 students received offers worth Rs 80 lakh.

A total of 31 companies participated in the placement drive. The companies were: AppDynamics, Bajaj Auto, BCG, Cairn Oil and Gas, Da Vinci Derivatives, Flipkart, Graviton, Hilabs, Infurnia, Intel Technologies, JP Morgan Quant, Maverick Derivatives, Microsoft, NHA, NK Securities, Nvidia, ONGC, Oracle, Plutus Research Pvt Ltd, Qualcomm, QuantBox, SAP Labs, Schlumberger, Sprinklr, Squarepoint, STMicroelectronics, Tata Steel, Texas Instrument, Trilogy, and UBER.
“The Placement Exercise for 2022-23 has begun as per the schedule. In order to get the best international as well as domestic opportunities for our students, we have tied up with all the booming companies in all sectors with a sincere focus on rising core profiles. Additionally, we ensured great diversification in the profiles to result in more offers extended to students in companies specific to their interests”, IT Roorkee said in a statement.
