According to officials, Jamia Millia Islamia will probably start offering four-year undergraduate programmes (FYUP) with a variety of exit and admission choices during the upcoming academic session.

Vice Chancellor Najma Akhtar of the institution has confirmed the development.

The UGC guidelines for multiple entry and exit options in academic programmes offered in higher education institutions, as well as the implementation of the layout of restructured four-year undergraduate programmes, were adopted by the members of the Academic Council at a recently held meeting, Akhtar said.
