Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of State for Education, has announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking for 2022’s seventh iteration. The NIRF ranking list for 2022 includes rankings for various fields like engineering, medicine, management, and law. The NIRF India Ranking 2022 pdf has also been released on the official website – nirfindia.org.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has once again maintained its top position in the overall category according to the NIRF ranking. IIT Madras overtook the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, which had previously held the top spot, in 2019. However, IISc Bengaluru has maintained its top spot in the NIRF university rankings for the previous four years in a row. The Miranda House at Delhi University has been recognized as India’s top university.
