There are both undergraduate and postgraduate exams in most of the universities in Dubai. To qualify for both, you need to fulfill certain requirements with respect to the eligibility criteria.
It is mandatory for all foreign universities, including the universities in Dubai, to check if the requirements are met in terms of the level of English language proficiency.
You can either give IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and obtain a good score (check the requirements of the university you are applying to) to qualify for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at universities in Dubai.

Admission for undergraduate study for international students in Dubai requires the following:
A minimum of 12 years of schooling.
Some universities like the Al Ghurair University, University of Wollongong in Dubai and Middlesex University Dubai requires a minimum percentage of 50% to 60% if you are coming from CBSE or ISC board
Almost all universities and colleges accept students with a vast range of qualifications and backgrounds. one must have a bachelor’s degree that is recognized in Dubai and the home country.
Admission for postgraduate study for international students in Dubai requires the following:
Foreign universities with branches in Dubai look for qualifications similar to that in their country. For example Murdoch University. Dubai looks for postgraduate qualification that meets the same academic standards as an Australian three year bachelor degree. However, it does not mean it has to be an Australian degree.
For admission to programs other than an MBA, one needs bachelor’s degree along with TOEFL or IELTS.
