Top 10 Arts and Humanities Colleges in India

Arts and Humanities are academic disciplines that are different from empirical approaches of nature and social sciences. Some of the courses that fall under this category are: literature; law; history; philosophy; religion and visual and performing arts (including music and theater). Talking in terms of their nature, these subjects are non scientific, have nothing to do with business or economics and they are not part of science and technology. They are the part of education, or concerning areas of knowledge that give leaner a refined sense of knowing, thinking, and feeling. Scholars working in humanities are sometimes described as ‘humanists’.  The humanities are those academic fields which study the human situation, using methods that are largely analytical, critical and speculative.
