Distance Education in Science Certificate programs of Andhra University

Andhra University was established in 1926. It is one of the oldest universities in south India. The university has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with �A� grade. Andhra University is presently providing education to five districts which are Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam.

School of Distance Education

The university started its School of Distance Education in 1972. The school is one of the pioneer institutes in the field of higher education.

The students who enroll with the school of distance education of the university follow the same syllabus and regulations which are followed by the regular students of Andhra University. The degree awarded to the students is also the same. (DOU 05092007)
