Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with a group of US academicians and think tank representatives during his US visit.
The academicians discussed with PM Modi how to strengthen the Indian education system with a focus on skills and innovation. They also talked about the transformative potential of the National Education Policy.
PM Modi, on the other hand, talked about the different aspects of policy-making and emerging global trends with the think tank representatives. He also emphasized on the positive changes in India and how they are being powered by the youth.
The meetings were seen as an opportunity to exchange ideas and insights on how to improve the education system and policy-making in India.
