MAHE – Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, is amongst the first institutions in the private sector to be recognized as a Deemed University by the Government of India. It has over 20 constituent institutions that provide over 180 courses across 13 streams viz Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Management, Mass Communication, Information Sciences, Hotel Management, Regenerative Medicine, and the like.

The campus of MAHE is well equipped with modern amenities, as also it facilitates a comfortable lifestyle for the students. Manipal University has been certified as an ISO 14001:2004 organization which is a series of voluntary standards on Environmental Management Systems (EMS) developed and maintained by ISO.

All the courses offered by Manipal University are in conformity to the UGC guidelines. All professional courses are recognized by respective councils like MCI, DCI, AICTE, INC, PCI and the like.

Courses Offered:

The courses offered by the university are Bachelor’s in Communication, Architecture, Engineering, Hospitality, life sciences etc. They also provide Post graduate degree in Information Sciences, Humanities, Communication, Hospitality etc. Apart from these they have various courses in Super Speciality and Certificate diploma in Nursing, Allied health Sciences and Medicine.

Admissions:

Admissions to some of the courses, Medicine & Engineering in particular, are done through a process which has an online test followed by counselling, which eventually leads to the admission of a student. Admissions are either through online entrance test or are based on qualifying examination marks.
