The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund offers scholarships for upto 2 years to Indian Nationals and Nationals of other Asian countries for Ph.D studies in India.

JNMF Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 60% marks in Master’s degree, age below 35 years, full-time Ph.D. scholar, registered in a recognized Indian University, and valid GATE/NET score.

Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarships for Doctoral Studies Monthly Stipend: Rs. 12,000/-

Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarships for Doctoral Studies Annual Contingency upto: Rs. 15,000/-

Application Form

Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarships for Doctoral Studies Application form can be obtained from Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, Teen Murti House, New Delhi – 110011 on cash payment of Rs. 100/- be deposited at any branch of state Bank of India SB A/c No. 30666380015 and deposit slip sent with the completed application form. Postal Order/DD also acceptable and be drawn in favour of “Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund”, Payable at New Delhi.

Last date for application

The Fund is a continuous one and follows no last date. A candidate can apply for the scholarship anytime of the year.
