The is intended for science, engineering and medical students. Applications have been invited from competent students who need financial aid for carrying on studies in the field of science, engineering and medical studies in reputable institutes in India from the Mahabir Prasad Singh Foundation for Education and Research.
This Scholarship was last given in 2013 and there have been no updates from the official site since.
Mahabir Prasad Singh Foundation Scholarship
- Mahabir Prasad Singh Foundation for Education and Research is a charitable institution that is dedicated to help students across India to pursue studies in the field of science like biotechnology, environmental science, medicine and engineering
- From the year 2011-2012, the scholarship grant has been increased to Rs. 3,000 per month so that they may encourage education and researchers to conduct research in those areas of science that help in the benefit of mankind
- The scholarship program also includes travelling expenses, to and fro for second class travelling

Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be desiring to follow a course in an Indian institution
- Students must have financial difficulty
- Students must have excellent academic qualification
- The students must be having all of their certificates and documents ready at the time of interview
- Those students are eligible to apply who do not have the financial means to carry on with studies
Application procedure
- Applications are to be downloaded from the official website – www.mpsfer.in/applicationform.php
- Applications are to be submitted online and by post to the society’s office
- A selection committee will select the students on basis of their merit and financial inability
- Details of the personal interview will be sent by post
