To go outside one's comfort zone
Students usually fear things that they are not exposed to. The key to surviving in a field like Finance and Marketing is to build and develop on one’s skills so you can easily adapt to changes in the market conditions and be efficient and effective in various roles.
Attend those cocktail parties
Networking is one of the most essential tricks to building a career. Although it can seem forced and a little awkward in the beginning, once you get used to talking and interacting with others, you will form long-term beneficial relationships not just professionally but personally as well.

Doing this while you’re still studying gives a sense that you are seeking help and advice without an ulterior motive, which one might think you’re out to do if you’re already working.
