Sandhya Devanathan is the newly appointed head of Meta Facebook India. She joined Meta in 2016. At Meta, Sandhya Devanathan helped build out the business and teams in Singapore and Vietnam. She also helped Meta’s e-commerce initiatives in Southeast Asia.
Sandhya Devanathan has 22 years of experience and an international career in banking, payments, and technology.

Sandhya Devanathan has done her education at very prestigious universities in India and abroad. Sandhya did her graduation with a BTech degree from Andhra University College of Engineering in 1998.
After her graduation, Sandhya cleared the CAT exam and did her MBA at the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University.
According to Sandhya Devanathan Linkedin’s profile, Sandhya has also done a leadership course from Oxford University’s Said Business School. The university is ranked on 9th position in the QS World University Ranking 2022.
Sandhya Devanathan Career
Sadhya Devanathan started her career at CitiBank in 2000. She worked with Citibank for over 9 years in various roles at India, Philippians, and the US branches.
After working at Citibank, Sandhya joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2009 and worked there for almost 6 years in the Singapore branch.
In 2016, Sandhya joined Meta, earlier known as Facebook. Devanathan has held several key positions at Meta, including country managing director for Singapore, business head for Vietnam, and vice-president of gaming for Meta APAC.
In addition to her professional roles, Devanathan is the executive sponsor for Women@APAC at Meta.
