According to an official statement from IIT Kanpur, the GATE 2023 exam will not be held in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Male (Maldives), Port Louis (Mauritius), Singapore (Singapore), and Thimphu.
The following cities have been removed from the list of test locations for the GATE 2023 exam due to operational issues, according to the institute. IIT Kanpur had earlier issued the subject-specific GATE 2023 exam dates on November 28. The computer-based mode GATE 2023 exam will be held on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023.
There will be two shifts for the exam on each day. The first shift will take place in the morning session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second shift will take place in the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

GATE 2023 examination will not be conducted in the cities of or Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Male (Maldives), Pt Louis (Mauritius), Singapore (Singapore) and Thimphu (Bhutan) due to operational issues, as stated in an official statement. Additionally, the examination in Dubai (UAE) on February 5th (for papers BM, CY, EC, EE, ES, XH) and February 12th will also not be conducted.
The GATE 2023 exam centres list now includes four new cities in Telangana: Adilabad, Kothagudem, Medak, and Nalgonda. With these additions, Telangana now has 11 cities with GATE 2023 exam centres instead of the previous seven.
