The official notification date for JEE Main 2023 has not yet been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which administers the exam. In addition to the notification date, the NTA will also announce how many times JEE Main will be offered this year, as well as the registration and exam dates. JEE Main 2023 will be held for BE and Btech (Paper 1) and BArch (Paper 2A) and BPlanning (Paper 2B). The official website jeemain.nta.nic.in will host the JEE Main 2023 dates.
NTA will be conducting the JEE Main exams in two sessions again this year — June and July. Just like last year, the JEE Mains question paper will have internal choices within the sections — Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The JEE Mains question paper will have 30 questions in each subject, divided into two sections. If there are any changes in the JEE Main 2023 syllabus and exam pattern, NTA will announce it beforehand so that candidates taking the entrance exam will have sufficient time to prepare for the exam.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to re-evaluate the eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced 2023. Under the current criteria, 2021 applicants are not allowed to take the exam.
