The Ministry of Education has announced that the sixth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) will be held on January 27th, 2023. Pariksha Pe Charcha, also abbreviated as PPC, will be held in a town hall format at the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi conceptualized this unique initiative that seeks to help students, parents, and teachers across the nation to overcome stress and celebrate life. The event provides an opportunity for participants to interact with the Prime Minister and discuss their anxieties related to examinations and life after school.Â
The program also aims to help participants develop skills that will help them cope with stress and pressure. The event has been successfully organized for the last five years by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.
Students who wish to participate in Pariksha Pe Charcha have till December 30th to register on innovateindia.mygov.in/ppc-2023. There will be a creative writing competition based on the following themes:Â
For PPC 2023, we’ve seen big participation from students, teachers, and parents from state boards, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and other boards.
This year’s registrations for PPC 2023 have more than doubled compared to last year’s numbers. Approximately 38.80 lakh participants (students- 31.24 lakhs, teachers – 5.60 lakhs, parents – 1.95 lakhs) have registered for the event, compared to the 15.7 lakhs registered for PPC 2022. Students from over 150 countries, teachers from 51 countries, and parents from 50 countries have also registered for PPC 2023.
