UPRTOU – Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, a State Open University, was established in the year 1999. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is recognized by the Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi. The University is not funded by UGC.

The University has eight schools of study, namely, School of Management Studies, School of Computer and Information Sciences, School of Education, School of Humanities, School of Social Sciences, School of Sciences, School of Health Sciences, and  School of Agriculture Sciences.
The University maintains several regional centres of education. It has its jurisdiction in the whole of Uttar Pradesh. It provides all the essential facilities necessary for smooth functioning of distance education, such as, Library, Computer Labs, Auditorium, Gymkhana, Sports & Recreation, and Hostel. The University now provides the facility of e-submission of forms.
Courses Offered:
The University provides, Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate courses in many fields like Humanities, Social,. Science, Science, Education, Management, Health Science, Agricultural Science, Computer and Information Sciences.
Admissions:
For admissions to Under Graduate, Diploma and Certificate courses, the candidates have to first register themselves and then pay the fees. Within 24 hrs of payment of fees, the candidates are required to download the form and write all relevant details and photographs and submit the same in any one of the Study Centers. For PG and PGDm courses, the students have to first go through an entrance test before taking admission.
ATMA 2022: Exam Pattern
The test contains 180 questions spread over 6 sections. In the paper based test, each section is timed separately, whereas there’s no such requirement for the online test. Total duration of the test is 3 hours. A negative score of 0.25 point would be given for every incorrect answer. Correct answers would be awarded one point each.
