All candidates cam apply online through the official UPSC website, www.upsconline.nic.in, and fill the application form before 11th January, 2022. The forms will be available from 22 Dec 2021. Â Detailed instructions regarding this are available on the website and in Appendix-II of the Notification.
The photograph and signature should be scanned in .JPEG format. The file size should not exceed 40 KB. The photograph’s size should not be less than 3 KB, and the signature’s size should not be less than 1 KB.
The application should be submitted in two parts, Part I Registration, and Part II Registration.
If the applicant chooses to pay in cash using the ‘Pay By Cash’ mode, the system-generated Pay-in-Slip should be printed during Part-II of the registration procedure and the fee must be deposited at any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) only on the next working day.
The ‘Pay by Cash’ mode will only be available till 11:59 PM on 29th June, 2020 so that bank payments are completed by 30th June, 2020.
While filling in the online application form, the candidate has to specify which Service he prefers, and can choose as many as he wishes to, in the order of preference from 1 to 4. According to his rank in the merit list, candidate preferences will be considered while making appointments.
No additions or alterations can be made in the preferences once it is submitted, and candidates will be given consideration only for the services chosen and ranked by the candidate.
Candidates must be able to provide their valid and active email id as the Commission may use electronic mail for the purpose of contacting the candidate.
Each candidate can only submit one application form, but however, if in the case of an unavoidable situation, candidates can submit another application with a higher Registration ID (RID) number, and this new form must be complete in all respects as only the new form will be considered and accepted.
Three weeks before the examination, candidates shall be issued their admit cards online (e-Admission certificate) i.e. it will be available for download by the candidates. The NDA NA admit cards will not be sent by post. It will be made available on the UPSC website, www.upsc.gov.in.
