CLAT 2023: Know The Previous Year Cut-Offs For Top-Ranked National Law Universities

Candidates can check the previous year’s CLAT cutoff to get an idea about their admission chances in the top five NLUs. Doing so will give candidates a better understanding of what score they need to get in order to be admitted into their school of choice.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 will be conducted by the Consortium of NLUs on December 18, 2022, in offline mode. Candidates who qualify for the exam will become eligible for admission to the five-year integrated LLB and LLM programs offered by the CLAT participating NLUs.

The CLAT cut-off marks are the minimum qualifying score that a candidate must secure to get admission to law courses offered by (NLUs).

CLAT cut-off marks are released during the counseling and seat allotment process. Cut-offs are subject to change every year, based on a number of factors such as:

Number of candidates appearing for the exam
The difficulty level of the exam
Marks and rank obtained by candidates
College preference is given by candidates
Number of seats offered by national law universities
Reservation policy of NLUs.

Previous year CLAT cut-offs for top ranked NLUs

Candidates can refer to last year’s CLAT cut-offs to get an idea of what the expected cut-off for CLAT 2023 may be. The NLUs that are ranked higher are usually more preferred by students, and as a result, they have higher cut-offs in comparison to the NLUs that are ranked lower. The deadline for candidates to make fee payments against their allotted seats for DU Spot Admission 2022 is today at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

Around 1,730 candidates have successfully gotten into an undergraduate program of their choice in the second spot round of Delhi University. If you were one of the candidates, you have until today (December 6, 2022) to make your online fee payment for the allotted seat.

A total of 4,383 candidates went through the spot admission process in round 2 and we’re happy to say that most of them walked away with a spot in the DU!

Candidates who have been allotted seats during the DU spot round must take their allocated seats and cannot upgrade or withdraw their seats.

According to a DU notification, “It is mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a spot round. If the candidate fails to accept their allocated seat in the spot admission round, they will forfeit their eligibility for admission to UoD and they will be out of CSAS.”

Delhi University released the second spot admission list for the 2022 academic year on December 2. A total of 19,000 candidates applied for around 12,000 seats in Delhi University colleges during the second spot allocation round.

Out of those applicants, 4,118 candidates secured admission in the first round of DU spot admission for 2022. However, 59,401 students had already secured admission to undergraduate programs across Delhi University colleges by the time the third round of seat allocation ended on November 17.

The university has a total of 62,231 admissions as of November 27, 2022. However, there are only 70,000 undergraduate seats available at the university.

At end of day one, 650 full-time job offers were made in IIT Delhi, out of which around 550 were unique job selections including over 250 pre-placement offers (PPOs).

The placement season for the academic year 2022-23 has begun at the Indian Institutes of Technology. IIT Delhi kicked off its campus placement on December 1. By the end of the first day, a total of 650 full-time job offers were made – out of which 550 were unique job selections. This number also includes over 250 pre-placement offers (PPOs).

Over 50 students have received job offers with a CTC of more than Rs. 1 crore domestically. In comparison, around 20 students have received international job offers from countries like Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Some students have chosen to accept domestic offers over international offers.

The IT Roorkee Placement 2022 has begun, with the highest domestic salary offered to a student on day one being Rs 1.30 crore. Ten students have been offered more than Rs 80 lakh in salary.

The Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee today kicked off its campus placement drive for the 2022-23 academic year. A total of 365 offers were made, including pre-placement offers (PPOs). Six international offers were made.

The highest overall offer was for Rs 1.30 crore. The highest international offer was for Rs 1.06 crore. In total, 10 students received offers worth Rs 80 lakh.

A total of 31 companies participated in the placement drive. The companies were: AppDynamics, Bajaj Auto, BCG, Cairn Oil and Gas, Da Vinci Derivatives, Flipkart, Graviton, Hilabs, Infurnia, Intel Technologies, JP Morgan Quant, Maverick Derivatives, Microsoft, NHA, NK Securities, Nvidia, ONGC, Oracle, Plutus Research Pvt Ltd, Qualcomm, QuantBox, SAP Labs, Schlumberger, Sprinklr, Squarepoint, STMicroelectronics, Tata Steel, Texas Instrument, Trilogy, and UBER.

“The Placement Exercise for 2022-23 has begun as per the schedule. In order to get the best international as well as domestic opportunities for our students, we have tied up with all the booming companies in all sectors with a sincere focus on rising core profiles. Additionally, we ensured great diversification in the profiles to result in more offers extended to students in companies specific to their interests”, IT Roorkee said in a statement.

SSC CGL Exam 2022: Tier 1 Paper to Start from Today, Know Test Time and Guidelines

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam for 2022 has begun today at 9 am sharp across the nation. It is important to know the SSC CGL exam day guidelines, timings, and marking scheme before beginning the exam.

The Staff Selection Commission has begun the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam today, December 1 at 9 am in computer-based mode across various exam centers in the country. The tier 1 SSC CGL exam is being held in four shifts at different times. The SSC CGL tier 1 exam will conclude on December 13.

This year, a total of 2,32,500 candidates have registered for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam out of which 2,09,750 have appeared for the test. Candidates who will qualify for the Tier 1 exam will be eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams.

SSC CGL Tier 1 2022 exam day guidelines

All applicants have been permitted to the CGL exam center only after showing their SSC CGL admit card 2022, original photo ID, photograph and face mask.
No one was allowed inside the SSC CGL exam center after the gate closed time.
Electronic devices and banned things like smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, mobile phones, etc., are not allowed in the exam hall.
All Covid 19 guidelines have been followed at the exam center as mentioned in the SSC CGL tier 1 admit card 2022.

IIT Madras Launches New Online MTech Course for Working Professionals

The three-year tailor-made online program for qualified engineers from technology companies has already enrolled over 600 working professionals and is growing in popularity. Read on to know more.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has launched an online MTech Course for working professionals who cannot attend regular classes. The online Mtech Course is very similar to executive MBA courses that allow people from the field of management to pursue educational qualifications alongside their job.

This online professional course is tailored for qualified engineers. Around 600 working professionals have already enrolled in the three-year course, instead of the regular two-year one.

The course will be held online and the projects for the course can be done at their own companies. IIT madras is the first institute to offer the MTech course for the working professionals.

The chairman of the center at IIT Madras, Prof Devendra Jalihal, said, “The students of this program have the same rights and privileges as regular students. The working professionals can carry out the project work at their workplaces. They do not need any residency as compared to sponsored candidates.”

IIT Madras has announced that their faculty, as well as teachers from other premier academic institutions and eminent industry professionals, will be conducting classes for their students. Besides regular classes, which are held in the evening, students will also have the opportunity to interact with their faculty members on a live basis. The students can take their exams in the same city as their offices.

The evaluation method for this problem statement will be done by the IIT Madras faculty. A mentor from the company will guide and help the student with their progress at their workplace. The student’s progress will be jointly monitored by both the faculty of IIT Madras and the mentor. The role of the IIT Madras faculty is to approve the problem statement and to review the student’s progress.

The MTech degree for working professionals already includes programmes on communications, VLSI and analog circuits, microelectronics, multimedia signal processing, software security, automotive engineering, mechanical design, interdisciplinary programmes in quantum technology and data sciences. With so many different programmes available, there is sure to be something for everyone working towards their MTech degree!
