Du Admission 2022: Around 1,730 Candidates Secured Seats In The 2nd Spot Round So Far

The deadline for candidates to make fee payments against their allotted seats for DU Spot Admission 2022 is today at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

Around 1,730 candidates have successfully gotten into an undergraduate program of their choice in the second spot round of Delhi University. If you were one of the candidates, you have until today (December 6, 2022) to make your online fee payment for the allotted seat. 

A total of 4,383 candidates went through the spot admission process in round 2 and we’re happy to say that most of them walked away with a spot in the DU!

Candidates who have been allotted seats during the DU spot round must take their allocated seats and cannot upgrade or withdraw their seats.

According to a DU notification, “It is mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a spot round. If the candidate fails to accept their allocated seat in the spot admission round, they will forfeit their eligibility for admission to UoD and they will be out of CSAS.”

Delhi University released the second spot admission list for the 2022 academic year on December 2. A total of 19,000 candidates applied for around 12,000 seats in Delhi University colleges during the second spot allocation round. 

Out of those applicants, 4,118 candidates secured admission in the first round of DU spot admission for 2022. However, 59,401 students had already secured admission to undergraduate programs across Delhi University colleges by the time the third round of seat allocation ended on November 17.

The university has a total of 62,231 admissions as of November 27, 2022. However, there are only 70,000 undergraduate seats available at the university.
