His achievement is an inspiration to a lot of people. He completed his mechanical engineering diploma in 1970 and has worked in Karnataka and Gujarat.
Bhat has handled the responsibilities of both mechanical and civil departments in his career. He also has special expertise in the civil engineering department.
In 2019, he enrolled himself in RNS Polytechnic College under the special category and ended up topping all his semester exams in college.
When questioned about what made him pursue his higher education at this age, he said that despite being qualified, he had faced situations where he was forced to wait for a single signature for a long time.
This frustration forced him to take up the challenge and finally complete graduation.
