The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) provides its service to all public sector banks by conducting exams for lakhs of candidates who need to qualify them in order to join various public sector banks for different posts. IBPS has recently announced the recruitment process for Group A and Group B officers in Regional Rural banks (RRB) across the country. Candidates intending to appear for the examination need to apply for this exam after carefully going through the IBPS RRB exam date, recruitment process, eligibility criteria, registration process, application fees, issuance of call letter etc.
Any candidates aspiring to join a Regional Rural bank (RRB) as a Group A Officer (Scale I, II or III) or Group B- Office Assistant (multipurpose) must register for the Common Recruitment Process. For scale I Officers and Office Assistants, the recruitment process will be held in two parts, the online exams will take place in two phases: prelims and main. For the post of office assistants, the candidates will be provisionally allotted as per their marks obtained in the main examination and vacancies offered by RRBs. The shortlisted candidates in scale I exam need to appear for a common interview conducted by Nodal Regional rural banks. For scale II and III officers, they need to appear for single online examination and shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for another round of interview.
Candidates appearing for Group A and Group B officers in IBPS RRB exam should keep in mind that they can appear for both the post of Group A and Group B officers; however, under the Group A category, a candidate can apply for a single scale i.e. either Scale I, III or III. Mentioned below is a list of participating Regional Rural banks (RRB).
