Anna University Chennai Centre For Distance Education is also popular as Anna University Distance Education (Anna University Chennai CDE). Anna University aims to impart quality technical professional education that would provide competitive edge in current global business environment. the Centre has launched professional MBA, MCA and M.Sc degree programs through the distance education mode from January 2007.

The University CDE has nine study centers in Chennai and four within Tamil Nadu. Those who remit the fee in person can collect the course material from the Centre for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai, Chennai – 600 025.

For others course materials can be obtained from the respective Study Centre. Contact Classes will be conducted on 12 days in 6 alternative week end during the period March to July & September to January. Minimum of 50% attendance is required for appearing for the End Semester Examinations
