Guru Nanak Dev University has been named after famous Sikh saint Guru Nanak Dev. The University was established on November 24, 1969. It is both a residential and an affiliating university.

Other than Amritsar, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has its campuses in Jalandhar and Gurdaspur. Jalandhar got its own sprawling beautiful campus at Ladhewali Road, Jalandhar in the year 2003. Many technical, professional and conventional courses running parallel to courses offered in conventional mode have been introduced. Under this program, a number of Associate Institutes have been setup where classroom teaching is an integral part of distance learning.

Three new prestigious professional courses were started in the newly established Campus: School

of Legal Studies, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Courses Offered:

The institute provides Diploma, PG Diploma, Post Graduate, and Under Graduate courses in various fields like Law, Arts, Science, Management, Commerce etc.

Admission:

The admissions are done online by downloading the form from the institute’s website. The fees for application is 1200/- for general and 600/- for reserved category candidates. Also, B.Tech candidates will have to pay an additional 2000/- for the counseling.
