IISc Bangalore 2023: New PG certification programme in Micro and Nanoelectronics

The program was developed in partnership with TalentSprint, an edtech firm, to fulfill the growing demand for semiconductor/VLSI specialists, as well as people with deeper semiconductor understanding, to interface with any electronics industry. MSDLab, Department of Electronics Systems Engineering (DESE) at IISc Bangalore designed the program’s curriculum.

“The field of Micro and Nanoelectronics is the facilitator of next-generation semiconductor technologies, which are at the heart of today’s quicker, sleeker, lighter, and more energy efficient devices,” said Professor Mayank Shrivastava, Programme Director, Indian Institute of Science (IISc). This is also the foundation for future neuromorphic and quantum technology. With the great potential of this ever-growing field in mind, now is the time for professionals to obtain a thorough understanding of it.

The program provides industry-oriented training, and the program teachers are a group of MSDLab researchers and professionals led by Professor Shrivastava.
