
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission to various undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, medicine, architecture and pharmacy courses in universities, government colleges and self-financing institutes in West Bengal.

Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification: You should have passed the 10+2 of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination. You are also eligible if you are appearing for the 10+2 exam in 2022.
Engineering/Technology (except Marine Engineering): You must have passed 10+2 or the equivalent with at least 45 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry together, 30 percent in English and pass marks individually in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or another fifth subject).
However, if you are applying to the Jadavpur University, you must have obtained at least 60% aggregate and pass individually in PCM.
Candidates should be at least 17 years of age by 31 December 2022.
Marine Engineering: Besides passing 10+2, you must have a minimum of 60 percent marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics combined and at least 50 percent marks in English (10th or 12 Standard). Individual pass marks in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or another fifth subject) are also required.
Candidates must be at least 17 (as of 31 December 2022) and no more than 25 as of 7 December 2022.
Architecture: Requirements are the same as for engineering/technology candidates, with the addition of qualifying in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). NATA is conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
Pharmacy: You must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / a Technical Vocational Subject (Engineering Drawing/ Computer Science) and pass individually in the compulsory subjects – Physics and Chemistry. You must obtain at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC) in these subjects together and pass English with at least 30% marks.
However, if you are applying to the Jadavpur University, you must have obtained at least 60% aggregate and pass individually in PCM.
Medical/ Dental: You must pass 10+2 with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. You must obtain at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST and 45% for OBC) in PCB together and pass English with at least 30% marks. Additionally, you need to score at least 50 percentile marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biological Sciences taken together (40 percentile for SC/ST candidates, 45 percentile for OBC-A, OBC-B candidates) in WBJEEM 2022.
You must be at least 17 years old as on 31 Dec, 2022. No upper age limit.
Domicile Requirements: For government engineering/technical colleges, West Bengal residency is required.
