Indian Institute of Finance (IIF) offers Basic Business Finance (BBF) program of 1 year duration through distance learning mode. This program also helps to those candidates who wish to study MBA Finance in a foreign university but have a 3 years graduate degree certificate. As in most of the foreign universities for admission one needs 16 years of education for admission into MBA courses. The purpose of this program is to develop competitiveness and effective management aptitude in future financial managers. Program is extremely helpful to those candidates who are living in far flung areas and can not attend regular classes.
Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any discipline from Indian or Foreign recognized university with minimum of 50% marks. Candidates appearing in the final year Bachelor’s examination are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure: The selection in Basic Business Finance (BBF) is based on calculation of Grade Point Score (GPS). The IIF calculate grades on the basis of candidates’ past academic records, other achievements, work experience, professional experience & achievements and personal interview for all categories of candidates.
IIF has a policy to admit some fresh graduates and some female candidates, even if their comparative GPS is relatively low but above the minimum cut off point. Admission is strictly on merit.
