Indian Institute of Finance (IIF) was established by Professor J.D. Agarwal in 1987 as a not for profit organization for promoting education and research in the areas of finance and related disciplines. Today IIF offers plethora of educational programs both, diploma and degree at postgraduate level in finance and related disciplines. IIF Ranked 30th in survey of Cybermetrics Lab of Spain in July 2007.
Indian Institute of Finance (IIF) is an autonomous organization. The mission of IIF is to contribute in the process of national building by offering courses and conducting research programs. IIF is a think tank and advises government and other organizations in the matters related to finance. Government of India welcomes IIF’s independent views on Finance whole heartedly.
What IIF says in words today, same becomes a reality tomorrow! The 8% GDP Growth of India in 2005 was predicted well in advance by IIF. The IIF has close linkages with industry bodies like FICCI, CII, PHDCCI, ASSOCHAM, DMA & AIMA.

Short Term Research Program: Indian Institute of Finance (IIF) offers a Short-Term Reserarch Programme for senior working executives, researchers and professors. The program duration varies from 2 – 12 months. Special focus is given on practical application of the research project & understanding of fundamentals. Candidates interested in pursuing this program need to submit one research paper along with detailed CV to the admission office.
