The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to contribute in the skill building for the external trade sector of India. It was granted the “Deemed University” status in 2002. Over the years, IIFT has emerged as a national university with focus on International business Management and Strategy.
The MBA in International Business (IB) is the flagship programme of IIFT, where cut-throat competition is witnessed for admission every year. IIFT’s entrance exam for this course is as tough, if not more, as other national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT etc.
The General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT), an admission test, is conducted by IIFT to decide which students will join its New Delhi and Kolkata campuses.

IIFT New Delhi Campus
Situated quite close to JNU & IIT Delhi in the Qutab Institutional area, the New Delhi campus of IIFT is spread over 6 acres of land and provides the ideal setting for a group of motivated and talented future leaders.
IIFT Kolkata Campus
The Kolkata campus is 7 acres wide and situated in the Madurdaha area close to a green ridge. The campus provides excellent academic and residential facilities to its students.
