XAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: XAT 2023 is set to be held on 8 January 2023 and XLRI has specified some criteria for eligibility of a candidate to be shortlisted. Like every year, this year too the institute has not made any major changes and the eligibility criteria remains the same. In case the candidate is not able to comply with the criteria, the candidate is not allowed for further rounds and his/her candidature will be cancelled. XAT 2023 score will be used for admissions in management colleges that accept XAT scores including member and associate colleges of XLRI. Anybody wishing to apply for XAT 2023 had to do so before 30 November 2023 post which late fee will be fined till 15 December 2023. Read further for details of the eligibility criteria.

XAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
- To be eligible to apply for XAT 2023, you must have completed your Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration or equivalent in any subject from a recognized university in India or abroad.
- You are also eligible for XAT if you are in the final year of graduation and will complete your final examination by 10 June, 2023. However, check the exact date of completion of final examination listed by individual XAT associate member institutes.

Important:
If you are interested in getting admission into XLRI or any other XAT Associate Member Institutes, you must register and apply separately for the academic programmes of XLRI or to other MBA colleges of your choice. You will not be eligible for admission to these institutes by only registering & paying for XAT 2023.
XAT eligibility for XLRI Courses
There are around 160 colleges that accept XAT score for admission, XLRI Jamshedpur is the most popular of them. The XLRI has specified varying eligibility criteria for various courses. The XLRI Jamshedpur offers three programs as of now, these courses are: PGDM in Human Resource Management, Business Management, and General Management Programmes. Given below is the XAT eligibility criteria for all three programs offered by XLRI Jamshedpur.
For HRM & BM (Business Management)
- Must have a valid graduation (Bachelor’s) degree of a 3 years or equivalent course from a recognized university.
- Final year students of any graduation course completing their degree by 10 June 2023 can also apply.
- All the Indian students have to apply through XAT. All the NRI and Foreign candidates in Dubai and Kathmandu can apply through XAT 2023 or GMAT. All the other NRI and Foreign students will have to apply through GMAT.
For General Management Courses
- Must have a valid graduation (Bachelor’s) degree of a minimum 3 years duration from a recognized university in India or Abroad.
- All the candidates have 5 years’ experience at any managerial or supervisory position till 31st March 2023 will be given preference.
- The candidates can apply through XAT 2023 or GMAT.
For Global Business Management
- Must have a valid graduation (Bachelor’s) degree of a 3 years or equivalent course from a recognized university.
- Final year students of any graduation course completing their degree by 10 June 2023 can also apply.
- All the Indian students have to apply through XAT. All the NRI and Foreign candidates in Dubai and Kathmandu can apply through XAT 2023 or GMAT. All the other NRI and Foreign students will have to apply through GMAT.
