PGDM in Communication (PGDM-C) is the flagship programme of MICA, offered under five specializations. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is equivalent to an MBA degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The Institute also offers PGDM program, which has Urban Impact Project worth six credits as its compulsory component. However, for PGDM-C students, it is optional. Additionally, the optional courses for PGDM students include Global Corporate Governance, Policy and Ethics, Legal Aspects of Business, and Decoding Customer Engagement.

The selection process of PGDM programmes at MICA is a three-step process as shown below:
Step-1: Each candidate need to take at least one of the three exams: CAT/ XAT/ GMAT
Step-2: All candidates are evaluated on the basis of MICAT which consists of 3 sections
Step-3: Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in any of the above exams need to appear for both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI) round

The selection process for FPC-C is a two-stage process:
Stage 1: Telephone interviews for eligible candidates
Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates appear for MICA’s FPM admission test, which is a three-day process organised at the MICA campus and comprises Written Test (WT), an Individual Presentation (IP) and a Personal Interview (PI) round

Apart from its two-year and three-year PGDM and Fellowship programmes, MICA also offers Post Graduate Certificate Courses. Candidates need to submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP) for this course (about 200 to 250 words). Also, there are limited seats available on a first-come-first-serve basis. *For admission to CCC, candidates need not clear CAT. However, they must have a bachelor’s degree/ equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities is a definite prerequisite. Those who are creative, intellectually curious, and vividly imaginative with a diverse set of interests, can apply to the course.
MICA follows a minimum aggregate of 50 percent aggregate as prescribed by the Government of India.
For PGDM-C and FPM-C
To apply for the MICAT exam, candidates need to fill the registration form and pay the MICAT application fees of Rs 2,100 online. The registration form can be obtained online from the official website of MICA.Â
For Post Graduate Certificate Programmes
Online applications are accepted for Post Graduate Certificate programmes and the application fee is Rs 1,985, which needs to be paid via a demand draft.
