XIC Mumbai admission to various courses for 2022-23 is open now. Registration for the online entrance test for the academic year 2022-23 will start in March 2022. XIC, Mumbai ranks as one of the top mass communication colleges in India. Currently, the institute offers diploma and certificate programs to aspirants at the postgraduate (PG) level. XIC admission process generally begins in April every year.

Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered by XIC should first visit the official website and apply online. Here are some important points regarding admissions:

  • Admission to all the courses is conducted through the XIC Online Entrance Test (OET) followed by a Personal/ Skype Interview round
  • The final selection of the candidates is based on merit in the entrance exam followed by counseling
  • The candidate must not be more than 35 years of age

XIC Mumbai Admissions 2022: PG Diploma

XIC, Mumbai offers full-time PG Diploma courses related to the mass communication field. Admission to these courses is granted based on the OET test followed by a personal interview round. The eligibility criteria for the PG Diploma course are mentioned in the table below:

XIC Mumbai Application Process 2022

The XIC OET 2021 application forms open in the month of April. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out and submitting the application form. Candidates can apply online by following the below steps:

Step I: Register online through the official website of XIC, Mumbai (candidates should note that the form can only be filled in Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or higher or Google Chrome as their web browser)

Step II: Fill in the required details such as name, mobile number, email-id, course interested in, captcha number

Step III: Upload a recent scanned passport size photograph which should be in jpg format

Step IV: Pay the application fee either by Debit/ Credit card. The application fee for XIC OET is Rs 3,500. Once the fee is successfully paid, candidates can click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete their application process

Step V: The admit card will be sent later on the email id mentioned in the registration form

Step VI: Lastly, candidates need to appear for GD/ Personal Interview/ Skype Interview

Candidates have to bring the following list of documents for verification at the time of application:

  • Class 10 mark sheet

  • Graduation certificate of the qualifying examination

  • Class 10 pass certificate for verification of age
  • In case the result is awaited, evidence of appearing in qualifying exams
