CAT 2023: All the interested candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50 per cent marks or an equivalent CGPA.
CAT 2022: The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 on November 27. The exam will be conducted in 151 cities across the country.
All the interested candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50 per cent marks or an equivalent CGPA. Additionally, those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
The CAT exam will be held in three sessions of two hours each. The three sessions will have the quantitative ability, verbal ability and reading comprehension and data interpretation and logical thinking.
A majority of CAT test takers fall in the category of 80-90 percentile and 100s of B-schools accept candidates having CAT scores in this range.
The CAT is a tough exam and one needs dedication for the preparations. It requires six to eight hours of study on daily basis with revision of all the concepts and formulae regularly so that it is fresh in memory till the CAT exam day. Candidates need to revise their application on different types of questions.
The CAT result will be released in January 2023.
