CBSE Board Exam 2023: Govt. Issues Fake Alert Against Websites Demanding Registration Fees
As per an official statement from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the website cbsegovt.com is fake and not associated with the organization.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) of the Central government has issued a fraud alert regarding a website that is demanding registration fees from students who are due to take the CBSE board exams in 2023. The alleged website is pretending to be CBSE official website and is demanding registration fees.
The website in question, cbsegovt.com, is fake and not associated with the central education board, as PIB has stated.
Taking to Twitter, the PIB stated, “A registration fee is being demanded from students on a fake website (https://cbsegovt.com) for appearing in board examinations…This website is not associated with @cbseindia29.”

The official website for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is cbse.gov.in. Interested Students should visit this website for accurate and up-to-date information regarding board exams, date sheets, and admit cards.
Recently, a fake date sheet for the upcoming CBSE board examinations has been circulating on social media. The Press Information Bureau (PIB) tweeted that this data sheet is not authentic and advised students to only refer to information found on the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in).
The Central Board of Secondary Education is yet to release the date sheet for the board examination 2023. Students who are participating in the 10th and 12th board exams are advised to keep visiting the official website of CBSE to stay informed about the date sheet.
