Delhi University will start the admission process for UG courses soon.

Delhi University officials have said that the admission process will be delayed by at least a week due to an extension in the CUET 2022 examination schedule.

DU UG admission 2022

Delhi University (DU) has announced it will soon open applications for undergraduate programs for the new academic year. According to a PTI report, the university has asked candidates to make sure their documents and certificates are ready by August 31, 2022. This is amid uncertainty around the start of the admission process in universities as Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exams have been postponed.

The university has announced that it will be taking admissions based on CUET scores from this year onwards. In a notification released on Thursday, the university listed the certificates required for the admission process, which include Class 10 and 12 certificates, as well as an EWS certificate if applicable.

“The application process for admissions to Under-Graduate programs at the University of Delhi will soon be launched. Candidates who wish to apply to the University of Delhi must make sure that they have the following certificates/documents (as applicable) ready by August 31, 2022,” the notification reads.

“The name of the candidate claiming reservation must match the candidate’s name as it appears on their corresponding school board qualifying certificates and in CUET(UG)-2022. Similarly, the parents’ names must also match on the certificates, “the university added.

The university also noted that any incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable documents or certificates will not be accepted when applying.
