Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister, urged the citizens on Twitter to participate in a survey for the National Curriculum Framework. As per the NEP 2020, a dynamic National Curriculum Framework (NCF) is in the works, which will help achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat.
He further added that in order to integrate our culture with the global outlook, free education from the colonial hangover, and instill a sense of pride in the future generations, it is crucial to develop a dynamic, futuristic, and inclusive National Curriculum Framework.
In July 2022, an online public survey was launched by the Ministry of Education in order to expand the consultations’ scope in regard to the process of revising the NCF. New school textbooks will be prepared in accordance with this framework. Anyone interested in giving their input on the framework can visit the portal to do so.
In the survey, the participants will have to answer 10 multiple choice questions on topics like primary issues of the curriculum content that the NCF should address, best ways of ensuring that the learning is enjoyable in classrooms, and more. Participants will also have an opportunity to write up different ways of making education more effective, meaningful, and relevant for students.
