Delhi University will resume academic classes in November of 2022 for the new first-year students, with a four-day break between the first and second semester.
The first semester of the university will start in November 2022 and end in March 2023, after which time the second semester will be conducted from March to July.
The first seat allocation responses are to be released on October 18 and followed by the second on October 30 and the third list on November 10. This means that the academic session will start before the third list is released – according to their schedule, theory examination for first semester will take place from February 27 to March 15, and theory examination for second semester from July 17 to July 28.
The CSAS third round will also offer a mid-entry window. It opens November 5 to 7.
This is the first time that the university has admitted students on the basis of CUET scores instead of class 12 Board exam results. To admit applicants smoothly through new entrance exam scores, the university launched a new central admission portal called CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System). This year, admissions are open for 79 undergraduate programs across 67 colleges and departments. The academic programmes include 206 combinations of BA courses.
