JEE Advanced 2022 Result: IIT Kanpur Offers 10 Special Scholarships To Top 100 Rank Holders

This prestigious scholarship program is open to the top 100 rank-holders of JEE Advanced 2022 and will cover all expenses related to tuition and living costs during their stay at IIT Kanpur. The scholarships were introduced for the first time last year by IIT Kanpur alumnus Lokvir Kapoor. The scholarships aim to encourage and reward meritorious students. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative towards encouraging and rewarding academic excellence, the statement added.

Each year, IIT Kanpur awards Rs 3 lakh in scholarships to selected students who have been admitted to the BTech and BS programme for the 2022-23 academic year. The institute’s goal is to make sure that no meritorious student has to put their education on hold due to financial difficulties.

According to a recent statement, the typical IIT Kanpur undergraduate student spends Rs12 lakhs throughout their four-year BTech and BS programme. A student scholarship can go a long way in helping cover the costs of education, which include tuition fees, boarding and lodging, books and supplies, health insurance and transport.
