JEE Main 2023: Students rated Physics as the simplest component during the morning shift of the final day of the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam, which was completed today. Overall, the difficulty level of Chemistry was regarded as moderate, while the duration of the Mathematics section was considered to be high.

According to professionals and students, the first shift exam had a balanced paper that could have been finished in the allotted time. Students did note that the mathematics exam was simpler than the one from the day before, though.

Physics

There were four questions from mechanics and two from electromagnetic waves in this area, however there were also questions from other chapters. Numerous numerical calculations relied heavily on formulas. There were also a few simple inquiries about communications and electrostatics. The section would have been simple for students who studied from the class 12 syllabus.

Chemistry

There were questions from well-known chapters including Metallurgy, Coordination Compounds, Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Redox reactions, Chemical Bonding, and Hydrogen. Physical chemistry accounted for the majority of the numerical-based problems, with Organic and Inorganic Chemistry accounting for the remainder. The paper mostly used examples and texts from NCERT. Overall, there was a fairly even distribution of questions from the Physical, Organic, and Inorganic branches.

Mathematics

The long calculations in the mathematics paper made it moderately time-consuming. There were two binomial questions, four vector questions, and two 3D questions. Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, and Permutation and Combination questions were included. Nearly every subject was covered. Nearly equal weight was given to classes 11 and 12 in the paper.
