A JEE Main aspirant has claimed that his answers were changed in the JEE Main 2022 exam. The candidate’s father took to social media and claimed that his son received two different response sheets. A response sheet shows the answers that the students gave in the exam. As per the candidate’s father, NTA issues two response sheets for his son.
They downloaded the first sheet on August 3rd and then again on August 4th. Both the sheets were different. The aspirant and his father have approached Delhi High Court, claiming that there is a discrepancy in the response key. According to the son, his sheet has at least 13 discrepancies.
The son claims that he attempted 58 questions out of 75. The response sheet that was published on August 3rd showed that the candidate scored 212 marks. However, the response sheet he downloaded on August 4th only shows 168 marks. Such a large gap would put the rank behind about 50,000 candidates.

Claiming that this error could jeopardize his future and career, he asked the court to put a stay on the results’ declaration. Even though the court did not agree to this, it has asked the NTA to submit a response within four weeks.
The JEE Main 2022 exam has been the center of a lot of criticism because of technical faults. A lot of students demanded a third attempt claiming that they had been affected by floods, heavy rains, and Agnipath protests. Last year, there were four attempts at the engineering entrance exam. This relaxation was given because of COVID-19.
