JNU Admission 2022: JNU Admission for UG courses through CUET to begin soon.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced that admissions for the 2022 undergraduate courses will begin soon. In a communique, the university stated that the admission process will begin shortly after the release of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 results. Candidates who want to pursue undergraduate courses at JNU are required to keep checking the official website (jnu.ac.in) for updates.

As per the official notice released on the website, the Admission Branch is processing data/details of candidates provided by NTA and shall open the portal shortly on JNU website for candidates seeking admission in JNU. Candidates will need to fill out an application form and pay the admission processing fee in order to be considered for admission.

Starting this year, admissions to central universities will be conducted through the CUET scores released by the NTA. Universities will use these scores to select students via the counseling process or as per their own admission process.

Prior to CUET, the admission process in JNU was conducted through the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE). The university will now use CUET scores for admission.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the debut edition of CUET and the results were released last week. Around 14 lakh students appeared for the CUET exam. NTA released the CUET scores after the normalization process and directed the universities to prepare the merit list on the basis of NTA scores.
