The KC Mahindra Education Trust will be awarding scholarships to  550 students from low Income family backgrounds under its annual Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) 2022.

KCMET Scholarship

The KC Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) has invited students from low income families to apply and avail benefits of the scholarship they provide under its annual programme Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship. Students pursuing job oriented diploma courses from government polytechnic institutes in India can apply for this scholarship. An amount of Rs.10,000 per year will be provided to 550 students for a maximum period of three years.

The students who have passed 10th and 12th standard with more than 60% and have registered for diploma courses in government or recognised polytechnic colleges and are registering in first year will be eligible. After application, shortlisted students will be called for an interview the date and time of which will be intimidated.

List of required documents for Scholarship Application:

  1. Proof of admission from Institution where admission has been secured
  2. Testimonial (Recommendation letter) from any one of the two referees (teacher/employer)
  3. A short statement as to your general aptitude and interest, the type of vocation you would like to pursue and your ambitions and aspirations in life
  4. Certificate of Date of Birth as recorded in your School Certificate.
  5. Copy of Mark Sheet of Std. 10th 
  6. Copy of Mark Sheet of Std. 12th (If applicable)
  7. Family Income certificate copy or proof of income
  8. Copy of first page of passbook or canceled cheque 
  9. Aadhar card copy

11,290 students awarded scholarships since 1995

The institution has so far awarded scholarships to 11,290 students since it started the scholarship programme in 1995.Girls, children from low income groups, differently abled children and army children have been given special preferences while awarding the scholarship.
