National Board of Examiners releases their revised schedule for the Formative Assessment Test

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) recently released a revised schedule for the Formative Assessment Test (FAT). They’ve made the new schedule available on their site, natboard.edu.in.

According to the new exam schedule, the next FAT theory exam will be on December 10th at 2:00pm. You’ll take the exam in two sessions and answer questions on a pen and paper test to find out your result.

Aspiring candidates who wish to apply for the December exam should do so before November 10 by submitting their application fee. Applicants will have plenty of time as the portal has launched today (October 21). So far, the fees are Rs 6000.

The admit card is expected to be released on December 2, and the work-based clinical assessment will be conducted in January/ February of 2023.

This examination is exclusively conducted for post-graduation, fellowship and diploma trainees. “NBEMS shall be conducting this FAT [free and fair admission test] for Post Diploma, Fellowship & Diploma Trainees of 2021 admission session only and no other trainees shall be included in this exam,” the official notification stated.
