Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) is going to organize its first Ph.D entrance exam. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Anjila Gupta had recently convened a meeting to take a decision in this regard.
She said the exam would be organized as per UGC rules regarding Ph.D. She said the New Education Policy 2020 lays stress on research. She said it was her priority to develop JWU as a trusted hub of quality research. “No compromise would be made with the quality of research. Our researchers should succeed in preparing policy documents and achieve patent,” she said.
NET and JRF pass students would be eligible to directly appear for interview for Ph.D admission provided them fill in the application form, said the VC.
