Celebration Moment for Plaksha University, Holding a Convocation for Technology Leaders Program

Plaksha University which is one of India’s largest collective Philanthropy efforts to make a tech University around the globe, commenced a convocation ceremony for the third cohort of University Program Leaders, at Mohali Campus.

The program for which the ceremony commenced is the Technology Leader Program (TLP), a one-year, postgraduate program co-delivered with Berkeley University of California. which covers some topics like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Leadership, Machine Learning, Principles of Design Thinking, Capstone Projects, etc.

The chief guest for this convocation is the CEO and co-founder of Standard Life Science, Dr. Ramesh Hariharan. The participants for this convocation include Plaksha University’s graduates, Plaksha University’s Trustees, the founder, and the Founding Vice Chancellor of Plaksha University, Dr. Rudra Pratap. are present for this convocation.

In the ceremony, they first introduced the chief guest and presented the students’ achievements afterward. Some 48 students have been awarded in this one-year program.

The first speech was given by the Vice-chancellor of the University, Dr. Rudra Pratap. He added in his speech about how this generation is more beneficial than the past and how they will become good leaders for the next generation. Some glimpses of his speech are “It is crucial for you all to be at the frontier of research in emerging technology and its effects on society, building on your learnings at Plaksha University.”

He continued, “The time you have spent familiarizing yourself with the myriad aspects of emerging technology makes you ‘Tech Leaders’ for this TechEd. As tomorrow’s leaders, apply your learning to increase organizational resilience and agility and lead the world to withstand the necessary change to recover from the adversity that may lie ahead. ”

With respect, showing gratitude and efforts for their students, he added further, “We will always have a place for you at Plaksha University.” You can come back here anytime for intellectual comfort and go back enriched. ”

The chief guest, who is the CEO and Co-founder of Standard Life Science, Dr. Ramesh Hariharan, didn’t miss the chance to encourage this youth toward a bright future. He added in his speech, “You are graduating at a time when technology is accelerating at a much greater pace than ever before. As we enter the new technological era, we realize that several societal problems remain unsolved, and data is pivotal in solving many of these problems.

He further added, “The faculty at Plaksha University has played a significant role in building your understanding of the world of emerging technology and equipped you with a solid foundation in AI-ML, computing infrastructure, data science core, design thinking, etc. As you progress in your professional journey, make the world a better place through your meaningful efforts by keeping your educational foundation at the center of real-world experiences. ”
