TNEA 2022: Counselling Process Begins

The Tamil Nadu government has commenced the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process on 25th August. This is for the general ranks, and it will begin at 10 AM. The process will end at 5 PM on 27th August.

The tentative allotment result will be released on 28th August before 10 AM and the same will be confirmed between 28th August to August 29th by 5 PM. The provisional allotment for accepting and joining will be released before 10 AM on 30th August. 

The acceptance and upward candidates’ upward allotment will be released on 30th August as well and continue until 7th September at 5 PM. The upward opted candidates’ provisional allotment will be released before 10 AM on 9th September. All students can download the provisional allotment from the official website of TNEA. 

Follow these steps to download the provisional allotment:

• Visit the TNEA official website.
• Click the login button.
• Enter the username and password provided to the candidates during registration.
• Click on the ‘Open Provisional Allotment’ button.
• Download the allotment list.

Students from the reserved category have to use a different link for getting the allotment for their special category, which is also available on the home page of the TNEA website.
